At 8:00 on January 17, Ethiopia time, the 2020 annual work summary and 2021 mobilization meeting of West International Holding Group was grandly held at the Skylight International Hotel in Ethiopia. About 300 people including Zhang Jimin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of West China Cement, Wang Jiujun, President of West International Holding Group, and cadres at or above the workshop director level of various subsidiaries, as well as representatives of advanced units and individuals who were commended, attended the event. The conference was presided over by Vice President Zhang Zengtao, and the conference was held through on-site and live video.
At the beginning of the meeting, Zhang Peng, executive vice president of the group, made a 2020 annual summary report to the meeting. The report comprehensively summarizes the work of the past year and clarifies the work direction for the next year from the review of key work, the main problems existing in the work, the critical work arrangement in 2021, and several work requirements. The report pointed out: 2020 is the first year for the strategic planning of West International Holding Group, and it is also the first year for consolidating the foundation and seizing opportunities. Faced with the unfavorable situation of the global outbreak of the corona epidemic, the overall downturn of the world economy and the increasingly intensified competition in the industry, the whole group worked hard and with harmony. Taking the construction of the "four emphasis and four strengthening" as the starting point, the production and operation and the project construction have achieved new results. Vice President Zhang Peng emphasized that although excellent results have been complemented in 2020, it is still necessary to keep a clear mind and fully understand the problems existing in the current operation and management.
In the second item of the meeting, Vice President Zhu Ying read out the advanced commendation decision, and commended and rewarded the advanced units, departments and individuals who made contributions in various business management and project management processes in 2020. At the end of the meeting, Zhang Jimin, chairman of the board of directors of West China Cement, delivered an important speech.
